1. Create a new image, 400x200 pixels,
with a transparent background. Select a light biscuit colour as your foreground colour - for this tutorial, I used #EBD1A5. |
2. Choose the Font tool. Select a chunky font - I used Cooper Black, but there are many variations of this font available online. Set the font colour to your foreground colour & make the size between 48 & 72 (it will depend on what you're writing & what font you are using) & set kerning to about 50. Make sure Antialias and Floating are selected.Don't drop the selection! |
3. Download my Cookie Preset and unzip it into your Preset folder within the Paint Shop Pro folder. Back in Paint Shop Pro, go to Image/Effect/Texture and select the Cookie_tex preset. |
4. Download my Cookie Bevel and unzip it into your Preset folder within the Paint Shop Pro folder. Back in Paint Shop Pro, go to Image/Effect/Inner Bevel and select the Cookie_bvl preset. |
5. Create a new layer, name it Icing. Select the Airbrush tool. Set the Width to 5, Hardness to 0, Opacity to 100, Step to 1 & Density to 100. Set your foreground colour to white. Draw a layer of "icing" on top of the cookie text - it make help to zoom in a little to do this. Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect, it supposed to look "baked"! |
6. Go to Image/Blur/Gaussian Blur and make the radius 1. Download my Glace Icing Bevel and unzip it into your Preset folder within the Paint Shop Pro folder. Back in Paint Shop Pro, go to Image/Effect/Inner Bevel and select the Glace_icing preset. |
7. Create a new layer named Sprinkle. If you don't already have it, download my Vermicelli tube and unzip to your Tubes folder. Click on the Tube tool. Select Vermicelli from the drop down list. Set the Scale to 25 and the Step to 80 & draw the sprinkles all over your cookie text. |
